Sleeping beauty!

**31 weeks 2 days**
Today we went for our 4-D ultrasound. Samantha was good, but was one sleepy girl. We did verify her gender, I had a dream last night that she was a boy so I really wanted to double check. lol. Her heart rate was 122 beats per minute, she is just one sleepy laid back chick. Haha! Here are some pictures!

Dear God,
Thank you for everything that you do for us. Thank you so much for our healthy baby girl. Thank you for showing us your miracle of life. Please continue to watch over her and to help her grow stronger until she is born.

My Christmas Present!

**31 weeks**
I hadn't decided until today if I was going to do the 4-D ultrasound, because of the extra cost. After talking to Patrick though, I decided that I wanted it for my Christmas present. I told him (while crying) that I feel her all the time, but I miss her and would just like to see her again since it's been over 10 weeks now. I am so excited and just hope that we can get some great pictures to make up for the $150 we are going to spend. I don't even get professional pictures of us for our Christmas cards, but for 1 hour with a tech, a cd with all of the pictures, and a vhs with our session recorded on it, I will shell out the cash.

I am going Friday at 4pm, it was the latest appointment that they had so Patrick could go with me. I will come home and post pics as soon as I can. :) I'm so excited. Pray for us that Samantha cooperates again, she was so good at our 20 week anatomy scan! :)

Dear God,
Thank you so much for everything you do for us. Thank you for giving me such a wonderful husband that provides for our family both the needs and the wants. Thank you so much for letting it work out to where we can get our 4-D ultrasound done at a time when Patrick can make it. Please let Samantha cooperate with us and let us get some great pictures that we can share with our family and friends.
AMEN

9 weeks left!!!!!

**30 weeks 6 days**
Today Samantha and I had our 31 week appointment. I can hardly believe that in just 9 weeks she will be here! Today was just your run of the mill exam. Thanksgiving weekend helped me gain 6 pounds, which I wasn't thrilled about but Dr. Tallent said was great since I have only gained a total of 22. My blood pressure was 128/70. I am measuring right on schedule now at exactly 31 weeks, and Samantha's heart rate was a calm 120 beats per minute. So everything is going great and my doctor and my nurse said how proud they were of me! I start going for check ups every 2 weeks now, and at my next appointment I will have a strep test, which will be the last test we will have to take!

After my appointment I went and had lunch with a good friend and ran some errands for Christmas which included picking up our Christmas cards. This is our Christmas card this year!

This weekend we had my two oldest nephews over to do our Christmas with them. They behaved really well, and we had a wonderful time. We made homemade pizza and brownies, opened presents, which they loved, and then spent the rest of our time watching movies and playing board games. I am hoping to be able to have them over at least one more time before Samantha gets here, because they really enjoy the one on one time that Patrick and I can give them right now.

I guess that's all for now, but I will keep you updated on how things are going when I get another second to myself. Busy busy busy this week!

Dear God,
Thank you so much for everything that you do for us. We are so grateful that Samantha is continuing to grow healthy and strong and we hope that you will continue to watch over her as she grows for the next 9 weeks until her birth. Please watch over my friends that have recently found out that they are expecting, they have suffered many hardships in order to conceive and be happy, and they deserve to experience the miracle of life. Thank you so much for giving us the chance to spend the weekend with my nephews. We love them so much and hope that they know just how much. Thank you again for all that you do, and please continue to bless us and our family and friends.
AMEN

**SNOW**

**30 weeks 3 days**

So this isn't a regular post, I don't have anything to really update, but I couldn't resist posting a picture of our first snow in our new home. I still can't believe we got any, much less in December like normal people. lol. It is only enough to cover the ground and will probably go away soon, but at least it isn't causing any problems on the road, so that we can still go to our first parenting class today along with have the boys over for their Christmas with us tonight.

Our First Snow in our new home!

Dear God,
Thank you so much for everything that you do for us. Thank you for letting Patrick finish up his class for this semester, and please let him get the grade he deserves. Thank you for letting us spend time together last night and just enjoy ourselves without worrying about school or work or anything else. Thank you for the beautiful snow and please keep everyone safe when playing in it or driving around it. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to take these parenting and childbirth classes, we really have enjoyed them and hope that they make us feel better prepared to be better parents to Samantha. Please help us to enjoy our time with my nephews tonight and let them have a great time. Please let my 31 week appointment go well on Tuesday and give us good news that Samantha is growing healthy and strong. Thank you for letting me feel her move on a regular basis which reassures me and gives us a special bond for now while I can't hold her in my arms. Thank you for all that you do, and please continue to care for our family and friends.
AMEN
