My baby girl is a month old today. Patrick stopped by the store on his way home and picked her up a cake, although she didn't get to eat any, it was still a sweet gesture and she will get it through my milk I guess. lol. It makes me sad that she is already a month old because she won't be this small forever, but at the same point I am looking forward to all of the things she is going to start being able to do soon. Right now she is able to focus in on faces, she is staying awake more often, and she is attracted to lights and mirrors. I can't wait to see what she will do next! I haven't had much time to blog, or do much of anything other than hold my sweet baby girl, but wanted to give you an update along with a few pictures. :)Also tomorrow I will be going to the doctor. I think I may have a breast infection which is inhibiting my ability to enjoy the breast feeding experience since I have so much pain when doing so. I am hoping that my doctor will be able to diagnose and treat the problem asap, so that I can keep bfing and enjoy this time with my baby girl. Wish me luck!

Dear God,
Thank you for everything that you do for us. Thank you for our beautiful, healthy baby girl. Thank you for letting us love her so much. Thank you for our wonderful and supportive family and friends. Thank you for our home and Patrick's job. Please continue to keep Sam healthy during this flu season, and please help me to find some answers at the doctor tomorrow so that I can start enjoying breastfeeding and the bond it will give me with my daughter. Please watch over my family and friends and keep them healthy so that they can continue to visit and spend time with Sam too. Thank you again for everything you do for us.
AMEN
