Baby Shower!!!

**35 weeks 4 days**
I was so amazed by all of my friends and family that came and helped and just had the most wonderful time. I am utterly exhausted, I know, I know, poor pitiful pg lady is tired from eating cake and opening presents. lol. But I really had the best time. I got to hang out with several friends that I haven't seen in a few months, and they all made me feel so important, so appreciated, and so LOVED! :)

We got lots of great stuff, we still need a lot, but were overwhelmed by how generous everyone was. We were so blessed to have so many of our friends helping out with the shower and one even made the cake which had a baby Maggie Simpson on it!

Thank you for everything that you do for us. Thank you for blessing us with such wonderful friends and family. Thank you for giving us this opportunity to celebrate the pending birth of our daughter with our loved ones. Thank you for helping us get some of the necessities that we will need to take care of our little one, and for giving us the financial means to take care of the rest on our own. Thank you so much for friends like Barbara, Stephanie, Erin, and Donna and family that made this shower possible. Thank you for letting us reconnect with old friends that made this day even more special. Thank you for not letting me dwell on things that were bothering me, and letting me truly enjoy this time with all of those around me.

35/35:35 weeks and 35 days left!

**34 weeks 6 days**
Samantha and I had our 35 week check up today. Everything is going great. My blood pressure was a little higher than what it usually is for me, but at 130/80 they said that it was completely normal. I had gained 3 pounds, which is also normal, and am measuring about a week ahead again. Samantha's heart rate was 140, which was mostly because she was pretty active this morning, and kept trying to get away from the Doppler. I will start going every week now, and will keep you posted on any new developments.
Sorry I haven't posted in a while, but there has been a lot going on. We had a wonderful Christmas and New Years with family and friends, and this weekend is my baby shower!!! I'm so excited I can barely contain myself. I promise to try to update this thing more often, especially with pics from my shower. :)
