The most beautiful girl in the world!

The most beautiful girl in the world is my precious daughter Samantha. I’ve known this since the moment I laid eyes on her, but more importantly she knows she is beautiful too. We were playing her favorite game in the car, ‘I Spy’ and when we ran out of things to spy for color I said “I spy something beautiful” and without hesitation my precious girl said “it’s me!”. I love every little thing about her, the red streaks in her dirty blonde hair, her angel kiss on her forehead that gets darker when she is hot or angry, her outie belly button, the freckles on her face, and her precious tiny toes. I know there are things that are far more important than physical beauty, and she has those things too (smart, funny, sweet, caring), but as someone who has had low self esteem since the sixth grade when a mean boy teased me relentlessly about how fat I was, I am so thankful that my daughter knows she is beautiful. I will continue to let her know that she is the smartest, funniest, sweetest, most beautiful little girl I know for as long as I live and I hope that she will always feel this way no matter what the world may think or say.
